Terms and Conditions
1. In the event of a postponement or cancellation by the client, the deposit paid is not refundable.
Should the cancellation be less than four weeks prior to the wedding date and the full amount has been paid, then Creative Video Productions shall be responsible for refunding only 50% of the "balance due".
2. Your balance will be due one month prior to the wedding date.
3. In the event Creative Video Productions, hereafter referred to as CVP, cancels, CVP's liability is limited to a refund equivalent to the amount paid as of the date of cancellation.
4. All montage photos and music selections must arrive at least three weeks prior to the wedding; otherwise we reserve the right to complete the edit at our own discretion. CVP is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged tapes, CDs, film, photos, or slides or any client provided materials. Please be sure all photos are numbered in the order you wish them to appear.
5. CVP will use the background music of their choice, unless the client provides their personal selection of music on CD or the music is used during the ceremony or reception.
6. We reserve the right to use any audio and/or video for promotional purposes.
7. Any attempt by either CVP or the client to sell the video or portion thereof will require a release signed by CVP and the client who signed this contract. CVP and its employees or contractors shall not receive any monies from third party individuals in exchange for any portion of the wedding video footage without written permission of the client who signed this contract. In like manner, the client who signed this contract shall not receive any monies from third party individuals in exchange for any portion of the wedding video footage without written permission of the owner of CVP.
8. Our time begins with the scheduled start of the ceremony including travel time to the reception, if the reception is different from ceremony. Any overtime or extra work will be billed at our prevailing rate of $80.00/hour. Any extra hours that are requested at time of booking are not refundable should they not be needed the day of the wedding.
9. Any downgrade in package 10 days after booking, will incur a $50.00 service fee. Packages may be upgraded with no additional charge.
10. Any request for a particular Videographer is not guaranteed.
11. CVP will attend the rehearsal for a maximum of 1 hour for scouting purposes only.
12. CVP shall not be held responsible for objects obstructing the view of the video camera(s). This shall include, but not limited to the following; candelabras, flower arrangements, members of the bridal party or venue furnishings. CVP or its contractors shall not be held responsible for not moving camera(s) once the ceremony has started. CVP will make the decision as to move or not move the camera(s) should it be necessary and not to cause any disruption of the ceremony. Attendance at the rehearsal will help to eliminate these types of situations.
13. All editing decisions of CVP are final, any re-edits other than for technical errors will incur a re-edit fee of $50.00.
14. Your completed video may be picked up or shipped to your home address via first class mail. Any changes or problems must be reported within 72 hours of pickup or reception via mail. CVP uses DVD -R printable media for all projects. The client is responsible for verifying compatibility with their DVD player by going to www.videohelp.com <http://www.videohelp.com>. DVD's are not returnable for incompatibility.
15. The number of DVD's is specified in the package information. Your DVD video will be packaged in a black DVD case with insert as per package description. The video will be available for pickup or shipping no later than 4 weeks from the date of the wedding. In the event CVP fails to complete the video editing in this time frame, CVP will reimburse the client $5.00/day for everyday the video is late. The client may opt to receive additional DVD's in lieu of the $5.00/day refund.
16. Payment may be made by cash, check or PayPal only. Checks failing to clear the bank will be charged a $30.00 fee plus court costs.
